Riftbound Card ScannerBETA
Point your phone at a card. Aethos knows which card it is, puts it in your collection and tells you what it is worth.
Scan one card or a whole binder page. Open a pack and watch its value add up card by card. Or film the opening with Rip Cam and the prices go on the video.

Scan Riftbound cards instead of typing them.
Typing card numbers into a spreadsheet is the worst part of keeping a collection, so I made the phone do it. Hold a card in front of the camera and it lands in your collection a moment later.
- Pick where the cards go. A binder, a box, a deck, or just Unsorted. Every copy is kept where it really lives.
- Hold up a card. Aethos reads the set code and number printed at the bottom, like OGN 166/298, right on your phone. It waits until it reads the same card twice before adding it, so a blurry frame does not put the wrong card in.
- Keep going. Each card drops into a tray with its price. Tap one to fix its art or finish, take it out, or add another copy. Undo takes back the whole run.
- A whole binder page at once. Page mode reads the nine pockets of a binder page together.
- Foils one tap away. Switch foil on and the cards go in as foil.
- Set lock. Scanning one set? Lock it, and a number read without its set code is looked up there first.
- When the number will not read, Aethos can match the art and ask: "Looks like this card. Add it?"
- Every set. Origins, Spiritforged, Unleashed, Vendetta and Radiance, plus promos, in binder page order.

What is my Riftbound card worth?
Scan it and you see. Every card shows its price as it is read, and the whole collection keeps its prices up to date after that.
- Three stores. TCGplayer, Cardmarket and CardTrader, refreshed every day.
- Your currency. Dollars, euros, pounds and about 70 more, with a link to each store's page for the card.
- The run's total. While you scan, the tray adds up what this run is worth.
- Prices as facts. Aethos shows what cards sell for. It never tells you what to buy or sell.
Scanning and every card price are free. The paid tier, the full chronicle, adds your collection's total value and how it moved over time.

Open a pack. See its value card by card.
Tell the scanner what you are opening, a pack or a whole booster box, then scan the cards as they come out. You do not have to film anything for this: it is the quick version for sorting pulls at the table.
- Price
- On every card the moment it is read
- Total
- What everything you pulled adds up to
- Stamps
- New to you, for one of your decks, wanted, or a spare
- Log
- The opening and what you paid, kept in your pull log
At the end you get a summary: how many cards were new, which ones go into which deck, the wants you found, and how much of each set you have before and after. Spares can go to one place in one tap.
Rip Cam: film the opening, prices on the video.
Everyone films their pack openings and then types the prices into the caption. Rip Cam does it while you film. Hold each card up for a moment, Aethos reads it, and its price goes onto the video as it happens.
- Live prices. Each card lands with its price, and the pack's total counts up as you go.
- The hits get their moment. An alt art, a showcase, a signed card or a big price takes over the screen.
- An end card. Your best pulls, the total and how many of each rarity.
- Fix it before you post. Change a card that was read wrong, or name one that was not read, and every number after it updates.
- Your voice and your face. Record your own commentary, and switch to the front camera for the reaction.
- Ready to post. One vertical 9:16 video. Save it or share it straight to TikTok, Instagram Reels or YouTube Shorts.
The cards you film go into your collection too, as an opening, just like the scanner. And when a card will not read, Aethos, the app's own character, has something to say about it. Rip Cam is free.

Questions
Is there a Riftbound card scanner app?
Yes. Riftbound Counter: Aethos scans Riftbound cards with your phone camera, one card at a time or a whole binder page at once, adds each one to your collection and shows what it is worth. It is free on iPhone and Android. The scanner is in beta.
Is the Riftbound card scanner free?
Yes. Scanning, the collection, every card price and Rip Cam are free, with no ads and no account. The paid tier, the full chronicle, adds things like your collection's total value; it is never needed to scan.
How do I check what my Riftbound cards are worth?
Scan them with Aethos. Each card shows its price as it is read, from TCGplayer, Cardmarket and CardTrader, refreshed daily and shown in your own currency, with a link to each store. Prices are facts, never advice on what to buy or sell.
How does the scanner know which card it is?
It reads the set code and number printed at the bottom of the card, like OGN 166/298, right on your phone, and adds the card only after it has read the same answer twice. If the number is hard to read it can match the art and ask you to confirm.
Can I scan a whole binder page?
Yes. Page mode reads the nine pockets of a binder page at once and files every card into that binder.
Can I see what a Riftbound pack was worth?
Yes. Tell the scanner you are opening a pack or a box, then scan the cards. Each card shows its price as it lands, with the running total of everything you pulled, and the opening goes into your pull log with what you paid.
How do I make a Riftbound pack opening video with prices?
Use Rip Cam in Aethos. Film the opening inside the app: every card is read as you hold it up, its price and the pack's running total go on the video, and the big pulls get their own moment. You get one vertical 9:16 video, ready for TikTok, Instagram Reels or YouTube Shorts.
What if the scanner reads a card wrong?
Tap the card in the tray to change its art or finish, take it out, or add another copy, and there is an undo for the whole run. In Rip Cam you can change a wrong card or name a card that was not read before you save the video. The scanner is in beta, so tell me about cards that do not read at hello@aethoscounter.com.
The scanner is one part of it.
Aethos started as a Riftbound score counter that saves every match point by point, and it still is one. Your scanned cards also feed the deck builder, which shows what you already own and what a deck would cost to finish.

Your cards, scanned and priced.
Free on iPhone and Android. No account, no ads.
