Delete your account
Aethos works fully offline with no account. If you created an account (Sign in with Apple or Google) to use cloud backup or "The Table" social features, you can delete it and all of its cloud data at any time. This page explains how.
Delete it in the app (fastest)
- Open Aethos and go to your account screen (the profile/account section in Settings).
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm. Your account is deleted immediately and permanently.
Delete it by email (no app needed)
If you can no longer open the app, email ondrejvodak@gmail.com from the email address linked to your account, or include your Aethos username. Please put "delete my account" in the subject. Your account and cloud data will be deleted within 30 days, and usually much sooner.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes the following from the cloud (Supabase, EU):
- Your profile and public username
- Your cloud backup of match and game history
- Your shared game-night activity and any photos you uploaded
- Your friend connections and sent/received friend requests
- Your streak, discovery, and other social data, and the reactions you sent
This action cannot be undone.
What stays on your device
Your local match history remains on your phone or tablet so you can keep using Aethos offline after deleting your account. To remove that local data too, delete the app from your device.
Anonymous analytics
Product analytics is anonymous and is never linked to your account. To delete it as well, email your app's random analytics ID (shown under Settings → Privacy) and it will be removed within 30 days.
