Delete your account
Aethos works fully offline with no account. If you created an account (Sign in with Apple or Google) to use cloud backup or "The Table" social features, you can delete it and all of its cloud data at any time. This page explains how.
Delete it in the app (fastest)
- Open Aethos and go to Settings, then Account.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm. You disappear from your friends' lists right away, and your account and all its cloud data are permanently deleted 30 days later. Signing back in within those 30 days cancels the deletion.
Delete it by email (no app needed)
If you can no longer open the app, email ondrejvodak@gmail.com from the email address linked to your account, or include your Aethos username. Please put "delete my account" in the subject. Your account and cloud data will be deleted within 30 days, and usually much sooner.
What gets deleted
After the 30-day grace period, deleting your account permanently removes the following from the cloud (Supabase, Frankfurt, EU):
- Your profile and public username
- Your cloud backup of match and game history
- Your shared game-night activity
- Your friend connections and sent/received friend requests
- Your streak, discovery, and other social data, and the reactions you sent
Once the 30 days have passed, this cannot be undone. Supabase's daily database backups keep a copy for up to 7 more days before it is gone for good.
What stays on your device
Your local match history remains on your phone or tablet so you can keep using Aethos offline after deleting your account. To remove that local data too, delete the app from your device.
Analytics
App analytics are identified by a random ID, and if you signed in, that ID is linked to your account ID (never your email). Deleting your account does not delete them automatically. To delete them as well, email the ID shown under Settings → Privacy and it will be removed within 30 days, from every device on your account.
