Riftbound Deck Builder
Import a deck or build one from your own cards. Every change becomes a version, and every game you record carries the version that played it.
So "I swapped two cards" turns into two records you can read side by side. Plus what you still need and what it costs, and decklists from Riot's Regional Qualifiers sorted by how much of each you already own.

What a legal deck needs.
From Riot's Core Rules (CR) and Tournament Rules (TR), both dated 16 July 2026. At events the Tournament Rules take precedence (TR 104.1). Aethos checks these as you build and names anything off, but never blocks a save.
- 40
- Main deck cards, including the Chosen Champion: at least 40 casual, exactly 40 at events
- 12
- Rune cards, exactly, in a separate rune deck
- 3
- Battlefields at events, each with a unique name
- 3
- Copies at most of any named card, main deck and sideboard together
- One Champion Legend. It sets the deck's Domain Identity, and every main deck and rune card must fit it; a card of two domains needs both in the identity. CR 103.1, 103.1.b, 103.2.c, 103.3.a.1
- A Chosen Champion. A champion unit whose champion tag matches your Legend's, counted in the 40, up to 3 copies with the one in the Champion Zone. CR 103.2.a, 103.2.b.1
- Main deck. At least 40 cards; in competitions exactly 40. CR 103.2, TR 402.1, TR 601.1.b
- Copy limit. Up to 3 copies of the same named card; different names count separately. CR 103.2.b, 103.2.b.2
- Signature cards. At most 3 in total, all matching your Legend's tag. CR 103.2.d
- Runes. Exactly 12, kept as a separate rune deck. CR 103.3.a, 103.3.b
- Battlefields. The count is set by the mode of play, with no two of the same name; an event registers exactly 3. CR 103.4.a, 103.4.c, TR 402.1
- Sideboard. Up to 10 cards; copy limits count main deck and sideboard together. TR 601.1.c.1, 601.1.c.3
- Banned cards. A card banned in a format may not be in a deck for it; Aethos marks banned cards and can hide them. TR 601.2.d
Every edit a version. Every version a record.
I would change two cards after a night of games and then honestly could not say if it was better. Now the deck remembers: each version keeps the games it was played in, because every game I record carries the version that played it.
- Paste a deck. Piltover Archive deck codes, text lists, and links from Piltover Archive, Riftbound.gg, Mobalytics and Riftbound Zone.
- Build one. Pick a Legend; the cards narrow to its domains and champions. Search by cost, domain, type, keyword or set.
- Versions on their own. Edit a deck that has played and a new version starts, named by what changed: "+2 Ezreal, −2 Jinx". Old versions never rewrite.
- Card by card history. Every card the deck has run, version by version: what stayed, what came in, what got cut.
- Maybe shelf. Cards you are thinking about, kept beside the list, swapped in one for one.
- Shape. Energy curve by type with the previous version behind it, and domains against runes.

Building, importing, versions and each version's record are free. On free, records count your latest 10 matches; comparing two versions, the record against every opponent Legend and records across your whole history are part of the full chronicle. Aethos is a recorder, not a coach: it never rates a deck or suggests a card.
What you still need, and what it costs.
Any deck, yours or one from an event, is checked against your collection: what you own, what is sleeved in another deck, and what is missing.
- To finish. "Missing 3 · €4.20 to finish", each missing card at its cheapest printing. The sideboard is counted apart.
- Want the missing. One tap puts the cards you lack on your wants list.
- Sleeve it. A pull list walks your binders and boxes in page order to gather the deck.
- Regional Qualifier decklists. The Top 8 and the highest-placed list of each Legend, from Riot's Top Decks articles for events of 1,000 or more players.
- Closest to you. Lists sorted by what you would still need, so the ones you can build tonight come first. Or sort by placing or Legend.
- Make it my deck. Copy any list into your decks and start recording with it.

Deal it, share it, build it at a desk.
- Sample hand. Deal an opening hand from the list, set cards aside for a mulligan, draw for the next turns.
- Draw odds. Each card's chance to be in your opening hand, after a mulligan, and by turn 3 and 5, for 1, 2 or 3 copies.
- Deck poster. One image with the Legend's art, version, record, curve and the whole list. A QR code on it opens the list: in the app with it installed, otherwise as a page on aethoscounter.com.
- Ready for an event. The text list event deck submission takes (Legend, Champion, MainDeck, Battlefields, Runes, Sideboard), and a one-page deck registration sheet to print: name, Riot ID, event, date, the six sections with counts and a line to sign, on Letter that also fits A4.
- Share the code. Copy the deck code or the text list for any deck site.
- On the web. aethoscounter.com/decks has the same builder with search and filters, paste, versions and their changes, synced with the phone both ways.

Questions
Is there a Riftbound deck builder app?
Yes. Riftbound Counter: Aethos imports deck codes and deck links or builds a deck from your own cards, saves every edit as a version, and gives each version the record of the games you recorded with it. It also shows what you still need from your collection and the cost to finish. It is free on iPhone, iPad and Android, with a web builder at aethoscounter.com/decks.
What are the Riftbound deck building rules?
A Riftbound deck has 1 Champion Legend (Core Rules 103.1), a main deck of at least 40 cards including a Chosen Champion whose tag matches the Legend (CR 103.2), at most 3 copies of a named card (CR 103.2.b), exactly 12 runes (CR 103.3.a) and battlefields with no duplicate names (CR 103.4.c). Main deck and rune cards must fit the Legend's Domain Identity (CR 103.1.b). At events the main deck is exactly 40 with 3 battlefields (TR 402.1) and a sideboard of up to 10 (TR 601.1.c.1).
How many cards are in a Riftbound deck?
For a tournament: a main deck of exactly 40 cards including the Chosen Champion, 1 Legend, 12 runes and 3 battlefields with unique names (Tournament Rules 402.1), plus a sideboard of up to 10 cards (TR 601.1.c.1). Casual play only requires at least 40 main deck cards (Core Rules 103.2). Aethos counts all of it as you build.
Where can I find Riftbound tournament decklists?
Riot publishes Top Decks articles for each Regional Qualifier. Aethos brings the Top 8 and the highest-placed list of each Legend from Regional Qualifiers of 1,000 or more players into the app, and sorts them by how much each one would cost you to finish from the cards you already own. Make it my deck copies a list into your decks.
Can I import a Riftbound deck code?
Yes. Aethos reads Piltover Archive deck codes, which most Riftbound deck sites use, plain text lists, and deck page links from Piltover Archive, Riftbound.gg, Mobalytics and Riftbound Zone. For RiftMana and RiftDecks it tells you how to copy the code or list. You see the list before anything is saved.
How do I build a Riftbound deck from the cards I own?
Add your cards to the Aethos collection, then open any deck, your own or one from an event. It shows how many of the cards you own, what is sleeved in another deck, what is missing and the cost to finish, with the sideboard counted apart. One tap puts the missing cards on your wants.
Does Aethos tell me which deck to play?
No. Aethos does not rate decks, suggest cards or show a meta. It keeps the record of your own games with each version of your deck, so you can see for yourself what changed when you swapped cards.
Can I see draw odds and sample hands for a Riftbound deck?
Yes. Aethos deals a sample opening hand from your list, lets you set cards aside for a mulligan and draw for the next turns, and shows each card's chance to be in your opening hand and by turn 3 and 5, for 1, 2 or 3 copies.
Can I build Riftbound decks on a computer?
Yes. Sign in at aethoscounter.com/decks with the same Apple or Google account to build with search and filters, paste codes and links, see each version's changes and copy the deck code or text. Decks sync with the phone both ways.
Can I print a Riftbound deck registration sheet?
Yes. Open a deck in Riftbound Counter: Aethos and choose Event list and sheet: it makes a one-page registration sheet as a PDF, with your name, Riot ID, the event and date, the Legend, Champion, main deck, battlefields, runes and sideboard with counts, and a line to sign. It also copies the text list that event deck submission takes.
The deck is one part of the record.
The same app keeps your collection, filed where every copy really is, and counts the score of the games you play with each version.

Every version, remembered.
